How do I get Help?

What are the sources of help when you have a question

Sources of Help

This site is a good start, so well done! As you probably know, the link to this site is available in the Management menu of the staff application. This site is still growing, so there will be gaps, but browse through the topics and if there are topics you'd like to see, we'd love to hear about it.

Another sources of help are the preference and setup pages themselves. Many of them have tooltips (indicated by the small question mark icons) which provide information about the meaning or implications of the preference setting. Hover your cursor over the question mark icon to see the tooltip.

When you have questions that aren't answered by those resources, contact Clio via the Clio Feedback link in the Management menu of the staff application (you can ask questions about both staff and patron applications). Using the Feedback page ensures that your question is logged in our system.

Email is our primary support method, as this allows Clio to provide more thorough and precise responses (and to research the issue if need be). It also provides you with a record of the answer, for your own reference and which can be useful if there are follow-up questions.
